Finchatton has confirmed the sale of Millhanger Farmhouse, with Knight Frank acting on behalf of the buyer.
Millhanger Farmhouse is an 11,398 sq ft Arts and Crafts family home set within 35 acres of rolling Surrey hills, designed in conjunction with Yiangou, one of the UK's leading architectural practices. Expansive interiors have been penned by Finchatton Design, combining both family living and formal entertaining spaces. Six-bedroom suites provide excellent accommodation, whilst an impressive entrance hall, drawing room, morning room, dining room, informal dining room, and family snug off the double height kitchen all benefit from the 360 degree views. The grounds include both formal landscaping and extensive paddocks, garaging and staff accommodation. Planning has been approved for a tennis court and swimming pool.
Millhanger marks the first country house development project for Finchatton and was marketed by both Savills and Knight Frank.
Andrew Dunn, founder of Finchatton commented; “We are delighted that Millhanger Farmhouse has been purchased by a wonderful family. The property took a little longer to sell than originally anticipated, but I am delighted with the outcome. Creating this unique and exceptional home has been a true labour of love for all involved and I am extremely proud to have built a heritage home for generations to come.”
The Finchatton country office is currently working on a number of exceptional projects in the most desirable and commutable areas of southern England.
