Hans Place represents Finchatton’s commitment to preserving architectural heritage in one of Knightsbridge’s most iconic locations. This development will transform two historic townhouses into seven bespoke residences, spanning 18,000 sq ft.
With planning consent in place, the project integrates a sensitive restoration of these historic buildings, safeguarding their architectural legacy. The design includes a striking new façade by renowned architect Francis Terry, aligned with the surrounding streetscape and reflecting the classical character of Hans Place. The interiors will feature soaring 6-meter-high ceilings and dramatic double-height spaces.
Project Director James Rooker shares, “Having had our eye on these buildings for some time, we are thrilled to have gained approval for our ambitious proposals, working with an expert team of consultants. This project will return these buildings to their former grandeur whilst enhancing the variety of classical architecture on Hans Place and writing a new chapter for one of Knightsbridge’s most iconic squares.”
With its rich history dating back to the 18th century, Hans Place remains a symbol of Knightsbridge’s enduring elegance, and this project reaffirms its status as one of London’s most prestigious addresses.
