25 Years of Finchatton

2026 marks 25 years of Finchatton. Building a business over a quarter of a century in the super-prime real estate sector is a milestone by any measure, and one I am immensely proud to have reached. It reflects not only longevity, but consistency, of vision, of innovation and of an unwavering belief in quality. Yet, in many ways, it feels as though we are just getting started. As market dynamics evolve and opportunities become more nuanced, the next chapter for Finchatton is shaping up to be the most exciting yet, not just this year, but looking ahead to the next twenty-five. We will always be a proudly British brand, underpinned by an exceptional team whose passion, skill and depth of experience continue to set us apart. Together, we are entering a phase of thoughtful diversification, expanding into new sectors while remaining firmly anchored to our core principle: delivering truly exceptional homes in the very best locations.

2026 is set to be a defining year. Three of our own developments are just getting  underway in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, complemented by several significant new projects commencing across prime central London. These include landmark schemes in Sloane Avenue and Grosvenor Square, which underscore our long-standing commitment to restoring and reinvigorating London’s historic fabric, where state-of-the-art technology sits easily within heritage architectural design. This approach remains central to our identity and our investment philosophy.

Beyond the capital, Finchatton continues to strengthen its countryside presence with a carefully curated portfolio of projects across Hampshire and the South. These include the recently completed Park House, Candover Manor, due to complete late Spring and The Candover, our first hospitality venture. A number of private commissions, including a 42,000sqft property we are building for a client in the South Downs and our new development of 10 unique homes within a beautiful private estate, reflect the growing demand for best-in-class country living whatever the size and location.

Internationally, our private client work continues to grow, with our Geneva project due to complete imminently and the family compound in Nairobi, also taking shape, while new projects in the US, Majorca and Dubai signal the next phase of our measured global expansion into key lifestyle and capital markets. With so much happening across the UK and internationally, 2026 represents not just our 25th anniversary, but a year of strategic intent, against an interesting global back-drop.

The first twenty-five years have been energising, exhilarating, challenging and rewarding, essentially laying the foundations for the next twenty-five years as we continue to build a dynamic, multi-generational British real estate business.
