Developments at Atlantic House
Back to news
The development of Thomas's Kensington's new purpose-built school at Atlantic House has made great progress over the past few months. Spanning a significant 35,520 sq ft, the project marks Finchatton's first step into educational development.
Working with Ackroyd Lowrie, the scheme will provide a modern and safe learning environment that respects the property's existing character. A new light-filled atrium will be the heart of the school, acting as a welcoming main entrance, and a woodland-style learning garden and roof garden will create an outdoor space for the pupils, as well as resulting in a biodiversity net gain of 21.73% over the current habitat value.Andrew Dunn Founder of Finchatton said: “We are so thrilled to be expanding into the educational sector with the Thomas’s project. The new building has been designed to create a best in class environment for learning today as well as to be sensitive to the local community and its neighbours.”
Atlantic House is set to open later this year.
